Nothing found on google with regards to tweaking the robocopy parameters worked for my Robocopy job repeating the copy of files from an NTFS network mapped drive (SharePoint folder) to a USB drive. It is now correctly logging these files as "same" and I am migrating a couple gigs of data on my delta copies instead of hundreds of gigs.įinal update. Using the old version of robocopy has resolved this for me. ![]() My userdata script would correctly skip files that had not been modified, but my scripts to copy redirected folders would always try and copy all of the files and mark them as new. the switches in my robocopy commands where identical, only the sources and destinations where different. I have a set of scripts that are copying over home directories and redirected folders from two different sources. I just wanted to say that this resolved my issue as well. Robocopy SOURCE DESTINATION /Z /FFT /DST /MIR /R:5 /NP /LOG :LOGFILE.txt Options used vary a little on each line but generally are: I hope this helps someone else as I struggled. It was the discussions here that made me think NTFS may be related. ![]() I tried /FFT as it was at the long network step that I kept seeing the repeated copies and figured it was network time related. Locations include a Win 10 PC, SharePoint folders (Mapped to drives on PC NTFS), Network shares folders (NTFS). This is a single "backup" script with several lines of Robocopy statements each copying from various locations to a Portable hard drive. Now this is very situation specific so follow this logic. ![]() Nothing was stopping Robocopy from copying all files with each run until.
